FAQs

To voice call a group in Workplace Video Chat, first open the conversation with the group of people that you would like to voice call. Then click on the telephone icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and click ‘call’. To remove any group members from the call, you can click ‘X’ next to their name. Once you’ve started a voice call, you can make it a video chat simply by clicking the camera icon. Find out more information in the Help Center.

If you're logged into Workplace Video Chat from your computer and are on a video call, you can mute or unmute yourself from the call by pressing the ‘M’ key on your keyboard or by clicking on the microphone icon on the calling screen.

To share your screen privately and securely, you’ll first need to download a Google Chrome extension. Next, click the ‘folder’ icon at the bottom of your screen and select which screen option you’d like to share. ‘Entire screen’ shares any window that’s open on your computer (including your desktop), ‘Window’ shares the specific window you select, and ‘Chrome tab’ only shares the specific Chrome tab you select. Click ‘Share’, and when you’re done, click ‘Stop sharing’ at the bottom of your screen or just hang up.
